Ipswich & Suffolk Indian Association (ISIA)
ISIA is a not-for-profit community group, which has been in existence for over 30 years. The Ipswich and Suffolk Indian Association (ISIA) started back in 1975.
Over the last thirty years, ISIA has provided information and support to the Indian community in Suffolk and events on Indian arts and culture to the wider community.
ISIA has organised the Indian summer Mela here in the Ipswich area of Suffolk. Rich in colour, music, arts and culture, the Indian Summer Mela is a family event and was held in Christchurch Park in 2007 as part of the Ip-Art festival.
Membership of ISIA is not restricted to the Indian community, but is open to people from all walks of life who wish to learn and enjoy Indian culture or help improve the relationships between Indian people and the wider community in Suffolk.
