Vicki Perrett (Sparkle Childcare)
Childminder
I am a registered childminder based in central Lowestoft. I work with my Mum and together we are Sparkle Childcare. We have worked together for 10 years. In that time we have gained a lot of experience of caring for children with additional needs. These include Autism, Hypermobility, Speech and Language problems, Haemophilia, ADHD and ADD.
We live in Hervey Street, Lowestoft which is situated about 5 minutes walk away from the railway station.
We have 2 small dogs and 2 cats.
Our aim is to give the children attending our setting a secure environment in which to learn and develop. We encourage independence in self care and in making their own choices over what to play with etc. We focus on loose part play, for example we have lots of wooden blocks and treasure baskets which the children enjoy using during their free play time.
We have a small secure garden with a play house, mud kitchen and water walls.
We offer lots of craft activities as well as cooking. We enjoy trips to the park, beach and library and some children attend Little Kickers football training on Wednesday mornings.
