Wood Ley Community Primary School is an inclusive 4-11 school which caters for all needs. The SENCO , Mrs. Sarah Spinks has a wealth of experience in supporting a range of needs and all staff work closely with outside agencies, such as The School Nursing Team, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Dyslexia support.
At Wood Ley we strongly believe that high quality teaching, differentiated for individual pupils, is the first step in responding to children who have, or may have, SEND. Additional intervention and support cannot compensate for a lack of good quality teaching. At Wood Ley School we regularly review the quality of teaching for all our pupils.
