Together with The Church Conservation Trust, the Friends of St Mary’s Church care for the church, organising community events and raising funds for the building’s upkeep.

Our aim as the Friend’s of St Mary’s Church is to keep alive this redundant church, making it a focal point for the community in Bungay.

Events such as regular talks and exhibitions help raise much-needed funds for the church too, as well as enabling more people to experience what a unique and lovely building St Mary’s is.
