Gipping Valley Archers

Gipping Valley Archers is an archery club that meets at Claydon High School. At Gipping Valley Archers everyone is welcome from beginners all the way up to elite archers.
Beginners' courses are available and cover safety, whistle signals, official roles (linesman, judge, coach, archer), types of bow (recurve, compound, longbow), how to shoot barebow (without a sight), how to shoot freestyle (with a sight), how to score, how a competition works, how to set up and put away targets safely, Where to buy kit and what is right for you.

Cost Details
A Beginners' Course runs for 4 consecutive Sundays and costs £40 for an adult and £32 for those not yet 18 years of age.

Notes

Beginner courses normally take place at Claydon High School on a Sunday afternoon (2:00pm - 5:00pm). The course lasts four weeks see costs below. Taster sessions also available.
