Waste Education

Schools Waste Education Website is a range of curriculum focused activities and resources centred around waste and environmental awareness.

There are also a few chances to get out of the classroom.

The new interactive visitor centre at the energy-from-waste facility at Gt Blakenham is now taking bookings for visits. There will be an opportunity for site tours and a chance to look around the education centre which explores waste, energy and the environment and was designed by award winning company Designmap, who also designed the exhibits for the Cutty Sark.

Please contact Claire Davies: C.Davies@suez.com for more details.

The Household Waste Recycling Centres in Suffolk also have an education officer who will be able to visit your school and offer a range of activities.

Please contact Sharon Lockhart: suffolk@fccenvironment.co.uk for more details.
