The Mason Trust

The Mason Trust is a charitable organisation that helps young people between the ages of 12-25 living in Suffolk or Norfolk. We provide advice and assistance to help bridge the gap between education and the work place to help young people develop their skills and capabilities, fulfill their potential and achieve their career goals.

The following are some of the projects that we are involved in…

Our education programme includes school engagements which has helps to deliver activities such as contextualised classroom learning sessions and facilitating careers talks and activities in schools and colleges supported by representatives from industry.

The Digital Youth Hub has been in operation since May 2021 and aims to help young job seekers find employment by providing a mentoring service to help them overcome barriers and give them the confidence to find sustainably employment.

The Rural Outreach Project aims to engage with young people who live in rural locations to help them overcome barriers such as lack of self esteem, anxiety, transport issues with a view to finding employment opportunities including work experience and volunteering.  Our mentors meet with participants both online and face-to-face.

We operate icanbea… a local careers platform and digital careers fair that showcases the best opportunities the region has of offer young people.
