I have been a childminder since 2006.  I live with my 17 year old son and 24 year old daughter.  We have lived here since 1990 in a quiet area on the horringer court estate.  We have cats and dogs .  All animals are regularly wormed and flea treated.  We have separate play access areas to the animals .  No dogs are allowed into the childrens play spaces inside or outside at any time during minding hours.  .  I work alongside you as the parent and provide a likes , dislikes form to include your childs favourite activities, foods or routines.

Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities

I aim to provide children with any disability or learning disability with understanding, patience and care.  To achieve the best possible outcome by working with parents and any multi agencies.  I work alongside parents to establish plans and support by using a graduated approach identify the needs of the child, support needed and any educational health care system to be put into place.  Children will be reviewed regularly and information shared with parents and inclusive of parents ideas and information.  Regular updated training will be put into place .  Using the EYFS statutory framework 2021 childrens identified areas of strengths and needs will be accessed also on your childs tapestry account.  Alongside this additional reports of plans and reviews will be written and shared with home.
