Respite Breaks in Felixstowe

'The idea behind our respite and shortbreaks'
We provide and facilitate a short break or respite service that is accredited by the Local Authority, for people with a learning disability, whilst maintaining their levels of independence to suit their individual choice and need.

We plan to help and improve wellbeing by providing flexible respite, for like minded people, offering more than just a break from family/ carers. We offer homely accommodation, freshly prepared meals and a supported, yet personalised, activity programme to enhance an individual person’s stay. Our regular newsletter means that we continue to build on social networks.

With a background in supported living, managing specialist behaviours and running social enterprise and training centres, Tony and Cathy are particularly well equipped to manage and facilitate these short respite breaks. With our ‘hands on’ delivery approach, our flexible timetable of activities allows our guest to discover the delights of the East Coast with levels of support to match their independence. In-house entertainment, local sightseeing, planned menus and memory books, help to make this the perfect respite break in Felixstowe.
