Whelnetham Community Centre

Whelnetham Community Centre is a charity run village community centre situated approximately 4 miles to the South of Bury St Edmunds.

It compresses of a large car park leading onto a very large open green area. There are two football pitches on the field and... the grass is cut through the season.

The hall can be entered through a large foyer leading to toilets and store cupboard. A door leads into the bar area which can be either separate or form part of the main hall. A kitchen area also leads from the foyer.

The main large hall includes a raised stage area with lighting and sound system and a stage door leading to two changing rooms. The stage area has been modernised recently with new 'flats' making this an ideal venue for stage performances, plays and variety etc.
