Bury St Edmunds Women’s Aid is a charitable organisation based in Suffolk. The Suffolk refuge provides emotional and practical support to people affected by domestic abuse in their personal or family relationships.

Bury St Edmunds Women’s Aid (The Refuge) was established in 1974 to provide safety and support for women and children experiencing domestic abuse. The Refuge offers temporary safe and supportive refuge accommodation where women and their children can recover from the traumatic effects of domestic violence and make informed choices.

Bury St Edmunds Women’s Aid offers advice appointments for people who are either in a current domestic abuse relationship or have historically experienced abuse.

We have a refuge and outreach centre - please contact us for details.
