How can I help refugees who have come to the UK?

Local:

Because the numbers of people coming to Suffolk is very small at the moment, there is currently no requirement for items to be donated. However, this situation might change. Therefore, we are asking people who think they might be able to help to contact us in the first instance so that we have your details.

Email afghanrefugeesupport@suffolk.gov.uk if you think you might be able to help.

For more information go to Supporting Afghan refugees | Suffolk County Council

National:

Use this service to offer help to refugees in your local area. You’ll be asked what help you can offer, for example:

  • housing
  • fostering
  • donations of goods such as clothes and toys
