From 16th April 2018, the new Emotional Wellbeing Hub will replace the current NSFT (Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust) Access and Assessment Service for 0-25-year olds, providing a simple process for families and young people to make a referral or get advice about wellbeing and mental health services.
What is the Emotional Wellbeing Hub?
A multi-agency team offering a central point of contact and information for people who are concerned about the mental health or emotional wellbeing of a child or young person in East or West Suffolk.
What will the new Emotional Wellbeing Hub do?
Receive all new referrals for 0-25-year olds in East & West Suffolk, where there is a concern about emotional wellbeing or mental health. Referrals can be made by your GP or other health, school or care worker. Alternatively, young people, parents or carers can complete a self-referral via the online referral portal - www.emotionalwellbeinggateway.org.uk
The Hub will also offer an open access consultation phone line for children and young people, their parents or carers and professionals who are concerned about the emotional wellbeing of a child or young people. The phone number will be published on 16th April and the lines will be available Monday to Friday, 8am-7.30pm.
