Suffolk County Council believes in supporting people with mental health problems to have their voices heard. We are committed to working closely with users of mental health services in Suffolk so that they can help to influence and design those services.
Suffolk User Forum is our dedicated user group which helps the council to gather, record and collate the experiences of mental health service users about mental health service provision in Suffolk and present the results with recommendations or commendations to service providers and commissioners.
They also inform service users of developments in mental health care, creating a better understanding of what might meet their needs more effectively.
