Big Curriculum and Assessment Day (for teaching professionals)

There is a renewed focus on the curriculum. Schools now need to be able to talk about their curriculum intent, its implementation and the impact on pupils' learning. On Tuesday 22nd January 2019 Mary Myatt and Jamie Pembroke will  lead a day working through these priorities and focusing on how to do fewer things in greater depth.

Training

SENDIASS - Become a 'SEND Parent Champion'

The aim of this 2.5 day course is to help parents to support and empower other parents who have children with additional needs.

SENDIASS - 'EHC plan' workshops for parents & carers

Does your child have an EHC plan or is an EHC needs assessment underway?

SENDIASS is offering free workshops for parents and carers explaining the purpose of an Education, Health and Care Plan and how it can help your child. 

Exploring key sections and responsibilities, how you and your child can be involved and what to do if you are uncertain about the Plan.

SENDIASS - Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support in schools and other settings

Increase your understanding of the system of school support for children with special educational needs and disabilities and also children with medical needs. We also look at exclusions and the threshold for an Education, Health and Care needs assessment process.
