Grants and Funding for youth projects

We know that when young people are engaged in positive activities in their communities, they are more likely to thrive.  They learn new skills, gain confidence and have the opportunity to spend time with peers in a safe space.

For many, having grants and funding is vital to set up activities and create safe spaces for young people in their communities.  If you are looking for grants to do this in your area, take a look at the resources on this page.

Locality grants

If you are looking to set up a youth project in Mid Suffolk, Babergh or East Suffolk, approach your local District Councillor as they have a funding pot each year to spend in their area.  Your local Suffolk County Councillor also has a pot, and this can be a good way to gain funds to be used as match funding for larger pots of money elsewhere.
