Being safe around the home

This means things like:

  • using smart home devices to help you control your environment
  • finding help with jobs you can't manage in your home or garden
  • adaptations to your home, such as ramps or grab rails
  • equipment such as walking aids so you can move around safely
  • keeping healthy and preventing falls
  • alarm services or wellbeing checks in case you do have an emergency
  • all aspects of safety e.g. fire safety, avoiding scams and unwanted callers
  • keeping your home warm in winter and managing your bills
  • fitting a Keysafe to give safe and secure access to your home to carers, family members and anyone else you choose
