Embroiderers Guild, Waveney Branch
The Waveney Branch was formed in July 1999. Members meet in Beccles, which is on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk. The Branch is named for the River Waveney, which forms the border between the two counties.
Our meetings are held on Wednesday mornings and we have about 77 members currently. Workshops are organised three times a year, with visiting tutors – usually these follow the monthly meeting on the Wednesday afternoon and continue the following day. In addition a ‘Taster Day’ is held, where member’s talents are used to pass on skills and new ideas.
