Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care Service

Norfolk and Suffolk victim care logo

Covering the whole of Norfolk and Suffolk, we’re a free, confidential support service specifically designed to help victims and witnesses of crime.

Whatever has happened to you, whatever you may have witnessed and whenever it took place, our trained support staff will work with you to make sure you receive the help you need to cope and recover.

It doesn't matter if you have reported the crime to the police or not, or previously turned down offers of support - help is available if you need it.

How we can help

We can provide a safe, friendly place for you to talk and help you with any practical tasks. We can help you prepare for going to court as a victim or a witness and explain your rights and what you can expect when going through the Criminal Justice System. Our support is completely confidential and independent.

What happens when I contact Victim Care?

When you contact us, we will ask you some questions to try and understand what has happened to you, how you have been affected, and what the best way is for us to support you. We will then put together an action plan which may include emotional support or speaking to specialist teams who are able to provide further help.
