Nisa Waveney Juniors Angling Club

Nisa Waveney Juniors was formed in February 2009, consisting of experienced anglers and fully qualified and registered coaches. All staff are volunteers. Our aim is to help Suffolk's youngsters improve their angling skills and to give beginners a chance to learn the basics and enjoy angling.

We are a fully inclusive group, and work with a range of young people (5- 25 years),our age primarily consists of 14-20 year olds regardless of their personal barriers. DBS checked, we work with Suffolk County Council Activities Unlimited, Cost £15 per session, 10am-2pm, all equipment supplied

We are now using a purpose built lake for people with disabilities ,located at Barking Tye, near Needham Market

onsite parking and accessible toilets are available.

We are extremely grateful to Gipping Valley Angling Club for the use of this lake.

Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities: We work with Activities Unlimited. Wwe have had experience of dealing with most disabilities, our volunteers attend training sessions for First Aid, and courses related to various disabilities, we have licenced angling coaches,and all volunteers are DBS vetted
