MJ Training - Training Provider (First Aid & Workplace Training)

At MJ Training we specialise in First Aid and mandatory workplace training, including subjects particularly relevant to a wide range of workplaces from the care sector to forestry.
We pride ourselves on offering a very high standard of training   

We have continued to expand the number of open courses we run from our Training Centre in Lowestoft, Suffolk.  But we also deliver training at our clients sites as well. 

Having our own training centre, at 1 Commercial Road, Lowestoft is continuing to be a success.  With a large training area on the ground floor and another space in our basement area, where we have a comprehensive moving and handling training room. Regularly clients comment on the homely feel and refreshments etc., offered. 

We have continued to run smaller open courses so our clients continue to benefit and feel more comfortable in the training environment.  We also have hospital grade air and surface sterilising system working 24 hours a day to ensure the air is as clean as it can be. We have also continued with our one manikin per person policy for our first aid courses of which all the manikins are electronic.  These QCPR manikins link with either the learners or our phones/tablets, to leaners as well as the trainer see how good their CPR is. 

We try to be as understanding as possible with our clients with regards to having to postpone booked courses or places on our open courses, due to staff being off ill, or required to work.  Unfortunately on occasions we do have implement our cancellation policy.  We always endeavour to never cancel a course and certainly not just because of low numbers.  We are continuing to deliver some online and blended learning, via the Zoom Platform as well.

We continue to invest in extra equipment, which includes plenty of CPR manikins of which nearly all have electronic feedback, full bodied manikins to assist with the practical elements of Recovery Position, Top to Toe surveys and wound dressing.  Plus a range of training AED units of various makes, which are the specific training unit for the live unit.  

For the Safe Moving of People training we have on site a profile bed, hoist, stand aid, wheelchairs, walkers, transfer boards, slide sheets, along with other smaller items of equipment that the learners can practice with in a bedroom environment.

We are able to deliver the courses on your own premises, 7 Days a week.  Or you can join one of our open courses held regularly at our Training Centre at 1 Commercial Road, Lowestoft, NR32 2TD.

We offer nationally recognised qualifications as an approved centre for Qualsafe Awards and Nuco, FAA Awards
