Festival Arts in Bury St Edmunds - creative activities for adults with learning disabilities

“I’ve loved being on this course … everyone has been helping each other.”

'Festival Arts' is an arts course for people with learning disabilities.

Students taking part in the course learn new skills, gain confidence, and experience working with professional artists. We will be creating artwork for festivals across Suffolk, making banners, 3d installations and decorative artwork.

There are also courses in Ipswich and Lowestoft.

For more information about Festival Arts please contact Project Officer Charlie Meyer on 01986 873955 or charlie@suffolkartlink.org.uk

For more information about  Lowestoft and Ipswich, please contact Project Officer Fran Speight on 01986 873955 or fran@suffolkartlink.org.uk

“The best things were standing on the stage and singing and dancing and conducting.”
