Kesgrave High School
We are a mainstream school who cater for students aged 11- 18. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum in Years 7, 8 and 9.
Students in Year 10 and 11 can choose from a wealth of Level 2 options: these are mostly GCSE subjects but does also include some BTEC vocational qualifications.
Teaching is setted within Mathematics across all year groups after initial Year 7 assessments. In Science students are streamed in Year 9, depending upon their GCSE pathway (students study Triple or Double Award GCSE Science). All other teaching is within mixed ability classrooms.
Our post-16 offer is entirely Level 3 study again offering traditional A-Levels but also some BTEC study options.

Support for people with disabilities
- Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities
As a school we value all our pupils and work hard to ensure that SEN pupils have access to the same opportunities as all others, providing them with the necessary support to allow them to access the curriculum and develop in confidence and self-esteem.
We are proud of the achievements of all our students at GCSE, including those of our SEND students, attaining qualifications which support their progression to the next phase of their education.
