St Giles Trust (Suffolk)

General Details

The Working Out Project delivers an ETE (Education, Training and Employment) programme to people who have a criminal conviction and live in Ipswich or surrounding area. This consists of a number of motivational workshops, specialist disclosure training and problem solving. The aim is to assist clients to get themselves ready for the employment market and build confidence in themselves to achieve. The Project is supported by qualified Peer Advisors who are trained to Level 3 Advice & Guidance qualification. The project is suitable for adults recently released from prison or, equally, those with a conviction from many years ago.

We are also interested to hear from people with a conviction who are interested in helping others and wish to gain the Level 3 qualification, as we are also pleased to receive self referrals and agency referrals from those wishing to get themselves ready for work and participate in our programme of development
