General Details

There are around 365 Parkinson's UK local groups throughout the UK. These are run by volunteers who usually have experience of Parkinson's and are supported by Parkinson's UK staff.

The groups welcome anyone affected by Parkinson's. Meetings can be informal - a chance to talk and discuss worries and experiences - or may include a presentation by an invited speaker, such as a healthcare professional or complementary therapist. Many groups hold social events and activities too.

Due to the current coronavirus ( COVID-19) situation, local activities run by Parkinson's UK are cancelled as a precaution until further notice. See more about Parkinson’s and coronavirus on our dedicated page
