Woodbridge Art Club

Regular weekly talks, demonstrations or workshops. Club open on different days for potters, painters and lace makers to work independently with other members.

Occasional short courses and social events. Summer and Autumn exhibitions for members to show their work.

We welcome new members of all abilities, media and at any time of the year. Whilst the club doesn't offer any formal tuition there are many opportunities to draw and paint and the popular Wednesday evening classes include demonstrations by highly regarded professional artists and regular Saturday workshops give in-depth tuition in . The building is open all day on Fridays for anyone who wants to join the group painting there and the regular evening meetings are sometimes used for life drawing, still life painting or outdoor sketching in the summer. There are demonstrations by practicing artists and occasional full-day workshops.

We have an active lace-making group who would welcome any interested new members. Our pottery group is very popular so we ask that new members wishing to join that group a basic understanding of pottery techniques.
