Banham Zoological Gardens
There’s so much to see and do at Banham Zoological Gardens and always something new to discover! See tigers, leopards, sea lions, giraffe, monkeys and so much more! The question is what will you do first?
Unleash your WILD SIDE in Woodland Adventure! This interactive outdoor fun zone features a unique climbing frame, mud kitchen, wheelchair accessible swing and embankment slide.
Perhaps you’ll visit our South America themed subtropical house ‘Eureka!’, home to sloths, monkeys, birds, reptiles and luscious planting; with some of new residents arriving later in the year this is one display you don’t want to miss! Join us for our daily animal feeding talks, ‘Amazing Animals!’ presentations and witness birds from all over the globe soaring and diving above your head in one of the most exciting free flying birds displays in the UK! Also enjoy the Free Safari Road train; indoor and outdoor play areas and fun and interactive sessions in our ‘Activities & Education Centre’.
See beautiful big cats such as Amur tigers, snow leopards, cheetahs and our beautiful but rare Sri Lankan leopards. Spot a huge range of primates including lemurs, monkeys and siamangs as well as our feathered friends such as flamingos, owls, parrots and ibis. ‘Penguin Cove’ also offers our guests the chance to see some of Africa’s coastal birds up close – including our colony of black-footed penguins who breed regularly here at Banham Zoo.
Maybe even treat yourself to one of our fantastic animal experiences with the chance to get closer to our tigers, cheetahs, owls, sloths, giraffe, armadillo, iguana, meerkats or gelada baboons. To round off the perfect family day out, the Zoo offers an excellent choice of eating facilities, a fantastic gift shop, free car parking, disabled facilities and much more.
We have many exciting events taking place throughout the year, so check out our website or follow Banham Zoo’s social media to ensure you don’t miss out!
