Chelsworth Village Hall
Accommodation: 60 seating Facilities: Kitchen, 2 toilets (inc. disabled) car park (6 cars).
Our Village Hall, which is also our War Memorial, is a thoroughly traditional First World War army hut.
Named the Victory hall, it has been used for village activities for nearly 100 years.
In recent years, it has become the centre of quilting in Suffolk, with many groups spending one, two and sometimes three days in the village. But it’s also ideal for meetings (up to about 50 people), and all sorts of social activities including childrens’ parties
Despite its age, it doesn’t lack any amenities, it has a warm spacious hall, a fully equipped kitchen and men’s and women’s lavatories. Of course it has a full supply of the things you’d expect, chairs and tables, plus some you might not – like a small stage.
