An independent and voluntary organisation set up in 1914 to promote the welfare of blind and partially sighted people in East Suffolk. Membership is free, and in an average year we help with the acquisition of over 1,000 items of daily living aids for our visually impaired members.
We are not affiliated to any other organisation. Our maxim is "Local Charity for Local People". Socials are held on the afternoon of the last Wednesday of every month at Stutton Community Hall when we provide tea, entertainment and a raffle, for our members.
If you are interested in joining us, please telephone our Community Worker, Ian, on 01473 788380 for more details.
Previously known as East Suffolk Association for the Blind - Shotley Peninsula Branch. Suffolk Sight is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, and was formed by the amalgamation of West Suffolk Sight and the East Suffolk Association for the Blind. Charity No: 1183608.
