Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities

We provide an environment in which all children, including those with special educational needs are supported to reach their full potential.

We have a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in each setting who aims to indentify specific needs and provide relevant support, working in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to provide best outcomes for the children.

Our premises are modern and purpose built and both have outdoor areas.

We have access to a woodland classroom, gym trail, school library and a large playing field.

We have experience in hearing impairment and have one staff member qualified in British Sign Language.

Makaton is regularly used with the children.

We currently support a child with cochlear implants and children with speech and language delays.
