At Tutor Doctor, our private tutors understand the importance of your child's education. They should have every advantage to stay competitive in today's academic arena. We provider in home tutoring services, online tutoring as well as supporting schools and other settings for young people. 

In every setting we evaluate each student to identify their specific needs and to set goals in order track their progress. In the student evaluation we'll find out excitedly what help is required, how we can compliment their work at school and understand why they are not as confident as they perhaps could be. 

Given that most students do have formal education we ensure we provide a bespoke service to their needs, to fil in any missing knowledge gaps, match the tutoring to their learning style and support exam technique and homework. 

Where necessary we provide our tutors with curriculum assets and lesson plans to ensure sessions cover all topics required as well as being able to address organisation and time management issues for students. 

We only recruit  tutors to the guidelines held in Safer Recruitment in Education and your tutor will have had identity, reference, barring checks as well as DBS checks.  Tutor Doctor also provides tutors with experience in SEND.
