Newmarket District Scouts

The Newmarket District covers the town of Newmarket, including some of the surrounding towns and villages.

The district comprises of 13 Scout Groups, 2 Explorer Scout Units, 1 Young Leader Unit and 1 Network Unit in multiple locations across the County providing an everyday adventure from the age of 6 to 25 years old.

Around 800 youth members meet weekly in the district, taking take part in a wide range of activities. These young people are supported by an enthusiastic team of around 200 leaders and supporters who work together to ensure Scouting is both challenging and fun for the young people and adults alike.

We are always looking for adults to join the team as a Leader or Executive Member, full training and support is given to any adult.
