Somerleyton Pre-school
Preschool
We are a very small, very friendly, village pre-school with a high adult:child ratio & highly experienced, mature staff.
Ofsted recently rated us Good in all areas.
We accept children from 2yrs to school age and welcome children wearing nappies.
We pride ourselves on providing a very nurturing & caring environment with lots of stimulating & exciting activities, tailored to children's individual interests & developmental stage.
We provide lots of educational & fun outings for the children - Regular Forest school sessions at Lound Lakes, Dyke-dipping & woodland activities at Carlton Marshes nature reserve, visit to Fire Station etc
We grow vegetables & butterflies & have Springtime 'visits' from Lambs & chicks.
We have a well-equipped outside play area with a large Mud kitchen & digging space.
We are a totally inclusive setting & welcome children with Special Needs.
Many children attend our setting from outside of Somerleyton, e.g. Lowestoft, Oulton, Gorleston, Bradwell and surrounding areas - no 'catchment' rules apply.
Please phone for more information & to arrange a visit to see if our Pre School offers what you are looking for for your child.

- Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities
We believe every child should be included & enabled to reach their full potential.
We ensure activities, resources etc are adapted to enable all children to take part.
We have a fully qualified and experienced SENCO
Our staff have worked closely with several parents, over the years, supporting them and their children to ensure full inclusion, respecting them and their children's individual needs.
