Notes

Our aim is to enable people with complex neurological conditions to live to their full potential, focusing on abilities rather than disabilities. We offer long-term and short-term residential placements, as well as community-based support to enable people to continue living independently at home. We can help you:

  • know more about your condition
  • get advice about who you should speak to
  • manage your movement and mobility with our in-house physiotherapists
  • ensure that your basic needs, such as safety, eating and drinking, mobilising, personal care and maintaining independence are met whilst you are with us, whether this is for a day, a few weeks or longer
  • maintain and access hobbies and interest, through self-confidence, as well as offering emotional, social and spiritual guidance and support
  • interact with others; this could be attending forums, meeting with friends or people with similar conditions and learning new skills
  • remain independent; this could mean enabling you to do more things or enabling you to return home, maybe after a hospital admission
