Bury Tango - Argentine Tango in and around Bury St Edmunds
Bury Tango is a friendly Tango club which has built up its reputation over nearly nine years. We are dedicated to building a community of Argentine Tango dancers in and around Bury St Edmunds. We organise Milongas (dance parties), afternoon tea dances, classes for beginners, improvers and intermediates and also weekend workshops and day schools.
We offer a variety of dances: Salon style Argentine Tango, Vals (Waltz), Milonga, Candombe and Canyengue. As a group of volunteers, we run a not-for-profit organisation. All our funds are used to benefit the development of dance in the region. Although centred in Bury St Edmunds, at The Hunter Club, we attract dancers from the whole of East Anglia and beyond.
