Community Transport - St Edmundsbury - Connecting Communities
Connecting Communities is a transport service provided by Suffolk County Council designed to help people travel around the county of Suffolk who might not have access to a regular bus service.
Suffolk County Council is working in partnership with Suffolk Community Transport Operators to help by Connecting Communities.
When you need to make a journey and there’s no public transport available to you locally, we’ll collect you and connect you to an appropriate bus route or train link for onward travel so you can reach your destination quickly and easily.
For journeys where connecting to other services is inappropriate, end to end journeys may be possible.

I have struggled to speak to anyone who sounds like they genuinely want to help. Any service I have requested which appears to be out of the norm, i. e is not a trip into the centre of Bury, is dealt with as if its an alien question? It's difficult enough to help wheelchair users gain their independence and freedom without being challenged and spoken to in a condisending manner.
