Childminder

I provide a caring, safe, child orientated environment for all the children in my care. The children attend a parent and tots group with me twice weekly as well as soft play centres. During school holidays outings are organised to various places for example: beach. park, farms, etc. There is a safe and secure outdoor play area, fully equipped with outdoor toys. All age ranges are encouraged to integrate and play together. Although I do not have structured learning lessons, I believe children learn through play and I encourage them to develop their social skills. Each day I get together with another childminder in my home where we sing songs, have story time , bake cakes and do arts and crafts I have a NVQ Level 3 in childcare and Playwork and hold current certificates in first aid and food hygiene as well as many other certificates.

I do not offer half day sessions, Included in my daily childcare cost of £55.00 includes nappies, wipes, fruit and drinks. A packed lunch is to be supplied by parent/guardian. I encourage families to have their children at home (where possible) to have their evening meal to promote the value of sitting down together to have quality family time.
