- Notes
Respite care takes place in a purpose designed and refurbished home in Clacton called Seaside Cottage. It is Ofsted inspected and close to local shops, parks, recreational clubs and is just a short walk to the seafront. It’s a safe environment with trained and caring staff. Seaside Cottage can provide short breaks for a maximum of four children at a time. They are able to accommodate ambulant and non-ambulant children with a wide range of complex needs, where high levels of intervention are required. Care will be planned, managed and overseen by the owners (who are experienced as sick children's nurses) and designed to meet the needs of each individual child and their family.
