Coronavirus Support

The Base is currently closed due to COVID-19. If a young person or family linked to The Base needs any support, please get in touch with us via the facebook page.

General Details

The Base is an open access youth drop in for all young people in school years 7-13. It takes place at the High Suffolk Centre in Debenham every Friday night during school term times and at the Skate Park in Eye every other Friday. Activities such as Xbox, pool table, table football and outside games available every week plus some one off special events. No cost to come in but you might want some money to stock up on snacks from our café.

The Base exists to help all young people discover and build a strong personal foundation of value, identity and purpose, a solid base from which each person can grow and develop. We work with and support young people, families, schools and communities to develop and stand on these foundations by:

  • Growing Potential
  • Building Community
  • Providing Opportunity

The Base is ran solely by volunteers and is managed by The Forge Community Church.
