Jewish Bereavement Counselling Service (JBCS)

General Details

The Jewish Bereavement Counselling Service has for over 30 years offered confidential counselling to individuals, couples, children and families in the Jewish Community who are experiencing loss. Bereavement counselling is offered on a one-to-one basis by trained and experienced volunteer counsellors in the client's own home or in a designated venue. Telephone counselling can be provided.

JBCS also provides bereavement support groups:

Butterflies - for mums and dads (of young children) who have lost a parent.

After shock - for young adults who have lost a parent.
