We're restarting our classes from the end of September
Teaching Chi Kung - a gentle form of exercise - to adults of any age, gender & ability, with the aim of promoting health and wellbeing.
Chi Kung is a very gentle form of exercise originating in China; it's often described as 'standing meditation' but can in fact be practiced standing, sitting or even lying and so can be done by people in wheelchairs. Because it is a low-impact activity there is very little risk of injury and even people who find other forms of exercise difficult may be able to practice Chi Kung. This makes it a very good option if you haven't exercised for a while or want to build up slowly after an illness.
Chi Kung is non-competitive - it's about how much you get out of what you are doing. The best thing about it is that anyone can do it and you can go at your own pace.
Beginners most welcome to join at any point. Your first class is free and without obligation. So come along and find out for yourself the benefits which Chi Kung may bring.
