Notes

IBTC offers a variety of boatbuilding/maintenance and wood working courses suitable for both those looking for a career in the industry as well as individuals wanting to develop existing interests and skills or develop new ones. Established in 1975 to train skilled craftsmen to work in the boatyards of Norfolk and Suffolk our graduates have gone on to manage yards all over the world.  City & Guilds approved our courses teach essential skills that can be transferred to careers outside of boatbuilding . Our boatshop and college are always open to visitors who have an interest in traditional skills.
