Suffolk AXIS

We provide day activities for adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities along with those who feel isolated, lonely or bereaved or anyone who is in need of social contact and offer the opportunity to make new friends, to chat and enjoy the company of others in a warm and social setting, develop new skills, improve health and well-being as well as giving our members carers and families valued respite time.

Axis offers a supportive and friendly place to be, offering a varied timetable of activities as well as outings and events throughout the year.

We are also involved in various committees and groups to raise disability awareness whilst seeking to improve the quality of life for disabled people in their communities. We run sessions in Stowmarket at The Community Centre, Hillside on a Friday, and on a Tuesday and Thursday at Redwoods, Red Gables, Stowmarket from 9.30-2.30.
