Tower Hill Residential Accommodation 18+

Specialist Education Services has 15 years of outstanding practice in caring for and educating looked after children with complex social, emotional and mental health difficulties, firstly through Avocet House (Est. 2005) and subsequently with Turnstone House (Est. 2012).

In September 2020 we opened this residential provision in Beccles, Suffolk for young adults aged 18+ requiring a highly personalised, community based, residential provision after leaving care.

This environment will offer nurture, guidance and time to allow the young adults to flourish, giving them opportunities to access further education, and employment and to continue the development of life skills.

The aim of the provision is to deliver high quality support, making young people feel safe and secure within their surroundings with other young people, all working towards their full potential.

Tower Hill (Residential) is located in the market town of Beccles in North Suffolk. This area was chosen for its local amenities and rural location, offering a safe environment for young people and adults to explore their independence.

The house can accommodate up to two young adults and is designed to feel homely and welcoming, each young adult is encouraged to choose the decoration of their bedroom to make their space personalised.
