The Patient Advice & Liaison Services (PALS) main aim is to resolve problems & concerns quickly before they become a major issue. It also acts as an early monitoring system for the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) by monitoring & highlighting any problems or gaps in service provision. PALS also provides information and advice on NHS services.
PALS can advise on how to make a formal complaint but tries to resolve issues to help avoid a complaint being made. They are part of the feedback services to enable the CCG to review and where necessary improve its services.
