Childminder
I have been a childminder since 2009, I currently offer both Funding for 15 and 30 hours. I live with my two daughters who are 15 and 13, they love my job and are wonderful with the children. Helping and playing with the mindees, my house is always full of laughter and love and all children are provided with an environment to learn and thrive.
I have my paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding certificates. I also have qualifications in Childrens and Young Peoples workforce (NVQ LEVEL 3), a Foundation Degree in Children's Care , Learning and Development, BA (Hons) 2:1 in Early Learning and a Post Graduate Certificate in Childhood and Youth Studies.
I live in a quiet cul de sac, with my daughters and dogs, cats and guinea pigs.
I work from a log cabin in the garden which has an covered outside area for the children to play on a purpose built decking area. I am currently working towards my accreditation in The Curiosity Approach.

I carry out observations daily and regularly monitor and plan to help children achieve their next steps. I use an online learning system to monitor the children's learning and development which parents are able to read and contribute to.
