Suffolk Wildlife Trust - Stowmarket Wildlife Group

General Details

We are a group of volunteers who care deeply about wildlife, not only for its beauty and diversity but its importance to everyone’s existence.
We support the Trust’s aims and its vision for a LivingLandscape. Whole landscapes that are richer in wildlife
– landscapes with nature reserves, SSSIs and County Wildlife Sites at their heart, from which species can move through a wildlife-rich countryside along networks of linked-up habitat.
Looking after local wildlife reserves
Work parties regularly meet to help maintain Combs and Bonny Woods. These are always an enjoyable way to do your bit for wildlife in the company of like-minded friends.
Organising local events
Events are held throughout the year, including wildlife talks and guided walks. The Trust's aims are promoted by becoming involved with local community organisations and events. We especially encourage the young to appreciate and respect wildlife and help safeguard its future.
Magazine delivery
The Trust’s magazine is delivered to local members, saving a substantial amount in postage costs.
