Age UK Suffolk is a local independent charity that exists to improve the lives of older people living in Suffolk by reducing social isolation and loneliness. Every penny raised in Suffolk stays in Suffolk. We rely on the time, energy and commitment of volunteers to support our services to older people and are always looking for more volunteers to join our happy team.
We have a wide range of roles to suit many different interests and skills and our current vacancies include opportunities in the following areas: befriending (both visiting and telephone), Chilton Day Centre (to help older people living with dementia), pop-up Chinwag events and fundraising, information and advice (benefits and triage), community links and administration. If you would like further information on any of our volunteering roles or wish to discuss any aspect of volunteering with Age UK Suffolk please do not hesitate to contact the Volunteering Team.
