Sheltered Housing, Babergh and Mid Suffolk
Sheltered Housing is available to anybody who has lived or worked in Babergh or Mid Suffolk or has relatives here, and who needs support to live independently or assistance with managing their own care and support needs.
We manage 21 sheltered housing schemes across the two districts, which provide convenient and comfortable accommodation for people over 60.
We have some 'indoor' schemes, where tenants' front doors open onto a corridor inside the building, and also some outdoor' schemes, where the doors open onto the street.
Most of our properties are single-bedroom accommodation, although we also have some two-bedroom and disabled-adapted properties.
