Funeral Guide is an online resource that helps the bereaved by providing independent and verified funeral director reviews and practical help and advice - from organising a funeral to coping with bereavement.

Our mission

Across all cultures, one of the most difficult moments in life is when a close family member dies.

Nothing can prepare you for the death of a spouse, sibling, parent or child.

The emotional pain of a loved one dying is so great that it can score 100 out of 100 on the Holmes and Rahe Stress Scale.

The problem is that we as a society don’t know how to deal with death, and sometimes that means the bereaved don’t get the help they need.

Our mission is to help the bereaved.

In the immediate aftermath of a loved one’s death, the bereaved are lost in a sea of emotions.

However, practical things need to be done and one of the most pressing is arranging the funeral.

Most people have never arranged a funeral before, so it is a bewildering and daunting task.

Funeral Guide was created to help the bereaved by providing a central resource where you can find all the information you need around the time of a funeral.
